The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Playo in the 6th minute of play forced Internazionale F.C's goalkeeper Waldemar Niezywy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Niezywy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Playo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Internazionale F.C were furious when Jorge Heli was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 9 minutes into the game, one of Internazionale F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Stegmann AFC. Bruno Michael stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Waldemar Niezywy. 0-1. If Eustacio Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes in the game Baltasar Mino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Pascual Rencio. Carlos Peruanton was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Internazionale F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 30th minute Pascual Rencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Niezywy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Niezywy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Rencio in the 36th minute of the match. Internazionale F.C's Carlos Peruanton quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hector Ieltxu, made in the 40th minute of the game. Waldemar Niezywy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Perutxo in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Pascual Rencio made the kick off in the second half. Victorino Blanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Enrique Ricart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Internazionale F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Ricart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Bartuelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Waldemar Niezywy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Rencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Playo got free with Waldemar Niezywy in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Stegmann AFC booed when Internazionale F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Foro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Santos Foro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar Niezywy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Rencio in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, Internazionale F.C's Waldemar Niezywy got control of the ball when Pascual Playo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Internazionale F.C's Waldemar Niezywy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Internazionale F.C from getting a goal against them. Rogelio Bartuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Ricart in the 82nd minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Internazionale F.C's goalkeeper Waldemar Niezywy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Playo. Hector Ieltxu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Waldemar Niezywy firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pascual Playo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Waldemar Niezywy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldemar Niezywy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Luix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Stegmann AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stegmann AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
