A collision led to Estrella Naranja getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Mariano Firmin hit a great ball. After 19 played minutes, Boca Juniors's Mauricio Bartoleme shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Generoso Reno came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boca Juniors reached it. Ulises Kauldi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lisandro Peru's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Arnaldo Tello got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lisandro Peru succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. If Arnaldo Tello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisandro Peru in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulises Kauldi saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Peru came free, but Ulises Kauldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulises Kauldi was a little too slow when Feliberto Tximitx got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 3-0. Generoso Reno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Gizon, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

In the 52nd minute Luis Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Kauldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boca Juniors's Ulises Kauldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Peru in the 56th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Peru couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Luis Theobald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Kauldi came out of the goal and Luis Theobald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Feliberto Tximitx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Sebastian Guilabertus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lisandro Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Weather kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Estrella Naranja's Lisandro Peru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulises Kauldi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Lisandro Peru made a precise shot to the right of Ulises Kauldi. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 85th minute Lisandro Peru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Kauldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Tximitx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Kauldi having to interfere. Ulises Kauldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Peru in the 91st minute of play. Estrella Naranja's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
