Tiburcio Donio hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Sebastian Guilabertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Guilabertus in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Ugaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Abbott's Zeledon Ugaitz got control of the ball when Cayetano Gizon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Abbott's goalkeeper Zeledon Ugaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cayetano Gizon. A hard shot 35 in the game by Cayetano Gizon from a close distance when the talented Zeledon Ugaitz managed to make a qualified save. Abbott's players were relieved. 40 minutes into the match, Abbott's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Guilabertus came free, but Zeledon Ugaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Abbott were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Mitxel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Fernan Joseph got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Mitxel came free, but Ulises Kauldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Donio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bruno Francho struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ulises Kauldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abbott. Cayetano Gizon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd match minute, Abbott was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Guilabertus succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. In the 79th minute, Cipriano Urdaspal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Mitxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Kauldi having to interfere. Sebastian Guilabertus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cayetano Gizon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Ugaitz having to interfere. Zeledon Ugaitz came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Sebastian Guilabertus. But to his dismay, Sebastian Guilabertus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Despite being the better team, Boca Juniors failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
