The coaching staff of El Canario protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Enrique Ramond had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for El Canario! El Canario:s Clodoveo Galeno showed great skill when he stopped Samuel Intxixu:s penalty. Felipe Laurgain hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pirata & Cordobés's goalkeeper Adolfo Blai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikolaj Zalipski in the 17th minute of play forced Pirata & Cordobés's goalkeeper Adolfo Blai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Rolando Tabb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Galeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Tabb in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clodoveo Galeno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clodoveo Galeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Tabb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Panpili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Galeno having to interfere. Pirata & Cordobés's Adolfo Blai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Zalipski in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Pirata & Cordobés's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Zalipski came free, but Adolfo Blai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clodoveo Galeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Tabb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored Pirata & Cordobés's protests and gave Romulo Diaz a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Panpili got free with Clodoveo Galeno in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Panpili struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Clodoveo Galeno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirata & Cordobés. El Canario's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
