Celedonio Baldovino came out of the goal and Clodoveo Lluc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miramar FC's Celedonio Baldovino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Batista in the 16th minute of play. Angel Marques came out of the goal and Danilo Sabino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee ignored Miramar FC's protests and gave Guillermo Odon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Miramar FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Guillermo Odon hit a great ball. In the 30th minute of the match Ruperto Segio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celedonio Baldovino skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Radan Hříbek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Al-Ahli Dubai F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Radan Hříbek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celedonio Baldovino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the game, Radan Hříbek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Celedonio Baldovino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Al-Ahli Dubai F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radan Hříbek to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Miramar FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ruperto Segio who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Clodoveo Lluc managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 56th minute of the match Prudencio Balesio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celedonio Baldovino skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danilo Sabino in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Radan Hříbek in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celedonio Baldovino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Radan Hříbek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Radan Hříbek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al-Ahli Dubai F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Radan Hříbek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guillermo Odon kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Radan Hříbek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celedonio Baldovino having to make a save. With a little luck, Miramar FC's Celedonio Baldovino got control of the ball when Radan Hříbek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaudencio Lizar struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Miramar FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Angel Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Sabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Sergio Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Alejandro Silban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
