With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Basualdo in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesus Mancio saved EL LEON RAFAELINO from getting behind. In the 8th match minute, EL LEON RAFAELINO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Raitin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in EL LEON RAFAELINO's zone, Leo Basualdo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Mancio came out of the goal and Leo Basualdo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amancio Rutenio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Txanton in the 12th minute of the match. When Queñoal's Filomeno Txeru in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EL LEON RAFAELINO's goalie prevented a goal. 16 minutes into the match, Queñoal's goalkeeper Amancio Rutenio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dionisio Txanton. If Leo Basualdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes, Bernardino Raitin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL LEON RAFAELINO and the Queñoal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes EL LEON RAFAELINO got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Raitin. Amancio Rutenio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dionisio Txanton's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Dionisio Txanton struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Amancio Rutenio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL LEON RAFAELINO. After having played for 33 minutes, Filomeno Txeru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Queñoal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Txeru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Filomeno Txeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute Leo Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Mancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Txeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jesus Mancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesus Mancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Basualdo in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute of the match Queñoal got a corner. EL LEON RAFAELINO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesar Jax ran over to the corner to take the kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Leo Basualdo made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Filomeno Txeru got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 52 minutes, Filomeno Txeru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Queñoal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Txeru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fermin Oroitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Mancio having to interfere. Filomeno Txeru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Quintan in the 67th minute of play forced Queñoal's goalkeeper Amancio Rutenio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Mancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Macario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Queñoal's Melchor Romo was substituted for Miguel Onbera. Jesus Mancio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Basualdo's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After 83 minutes, Leo Basualdo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. EL LEON RAFAELINO's Jesus Mancio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Filomeno Txeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Mancio made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Filomeno Txeru sent off a good shot on target. Leo Basualdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Queñoal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
