A collision led to Manantiales getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Froilan Ur hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Ceferino Sagrario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jorge Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Omero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Videl, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Manantiales's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Teo Toli scored to the left of an out of position Francisco Omero, making the score, 1-6.
