Sucre's Godofredo Poz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Cordaro in the 25th minute of play. Aurelio Dolfo's late challenge caught a Sucre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Dolfo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Andacollo's Aurelio Dolfo got a free kick in the 27th minute. 28 minutes in the game, Jacinto Muno fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ubaldo Poz having to interfere. After 31 minutes, Luciano Fagondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sucre and the Andacollo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Godofredo Poz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Cordaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Andacollo's Ubaldo Poz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Astigar in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Sucre were awarded a corner. Jacinto Muno went to the cornerflag to take it. Sucre's Jacinto Muno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ubaldo Poz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eustaquio Phelipe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Poz having to interfere. Aurelio Dolfo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Godofredo Poz. Sucre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Mergildo was the one to do the kick off. Godofredo Poz made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Rodolfo Vergaray sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Mergildo in the 68th minute of play forced Sucre's goalkeeper Godofredo Poz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sucre's Godofredo Poz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Sucre from getting a goal against them. Rodolfo Vergaray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Godofredo Poz made a huge save. Andacollo's Ubaldo Poz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Fagondo in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Andres Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andacollo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Mergildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermengildo Chap hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Poz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Gelmiro's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. A collision led to Andacollo getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Elpidio Cordaro hit a great ball.
