After having played for 13 minutes, Vicente Gimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferrocarril Sur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Gimenez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celedonio Hotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Gimenez in the 21st minute of play. When Vicente Gimenez came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Ferrocarril Sur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Gimenez couldn't finish the play. After 24 played minutes Uriburú FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Mosen. In the 25th minute, Yusron Gustomi made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Hotz. Uriburú FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a little luck, Ferrocarril Sur's Radowit Kiewra got control of the ball when Jaime Quilo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celedonio Hotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Gimenez in the 34th minute of the match. Yusron Gustomi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Hotz having to interfere. Celedonio Hotz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferrocarril Sur. After a defensive mix-up in Ferrocarril Sur's zone, Rodrigo Inocente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radowit Kiewra came out of the goal and Rodrigo Inocente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo Inocente to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomás Ladio lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ferrocarril Sur fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Uriburú FC. Luciano Lop stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Radowit Kiewra. 1-2. In the 65th minute Rodrigo Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Kiewra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Uriburú FC's Celedonio Hotz got control of the ball when Yusron Gustomi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Leon Selatse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferrocarril Sur's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Selatse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celedonio Hotz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uriburú FC's Celedonio Hotz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Uriburú FC from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the game, Luciano Lop was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uriburú FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferrocarril Sur the free kick. In the 86th minute, Luciano Lop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 87th minute, when Ferrocarril Sur's Dalmacio Pacifico after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Celedonio Hotz in Uriburú FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. If Leon Selatse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Ferrocarril Sur could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Uriburú FC throughout the match.
