In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerrillos AFC's goalkeeper Leon Mendebal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 21 minutes of play, Bielsistas FC's Mauro Gimenez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon Mendebal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cerrillos AFC's Orlando Nardo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Genaro Natal but with some difficulty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Gimenez in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Mendebal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the game, Isaias Hitzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bielsistas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerrillos AFC the free kick. Mauro Gimenez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Leon Mendebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mauro Gimenez came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Bielsistas FC fans jumped to their feet. Leon Mendebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Eate in the 44th minute of play. Santo Nuxila kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. With a little luck, Bielsistas FC's Genaro Natal got control of the ball when Luis Soin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
