Christian Magdaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldas Rekašius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorino Olando charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Olando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domingos Xabier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Bonifacio Rioja made a huge save. Martien de Vos's late challenge caught a Estrella Federal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martien de Vos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Estrella Federal booed when Club Social San Cristobal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Club Social San Cristobal's Bonifacio Rioja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Lucado in the 93rd minute of play. Estrella Federal's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
