Arnulfo Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Marko in the 38th minute of play. El Infierno Rojo's Emilio Sergi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Bidari in the 40th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Genaro Bidari kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emilio Sergi. That made the score 1-2 in the 92 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aragonés AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
