C.U.R.B.A.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nereo Pio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when boca juniors fc's Ricardo Diaz fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the game, boca juniors fc's Ricardo Diaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Pio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 57th match minute, C.U.R.B.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Paz to maneuver through the defense. Nicasio Igon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nereo Pio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, C.U.R.B.A.'s goalkeeper Nereo Pio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Ekialde. Nereo Pio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Diaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Gabriel Ekialde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Nereo Pio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Saul Odol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 85 minutes into the match, Saul Odol notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of C.U.R.B.A.'s Nereo Pio. Nereo Pio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th minute of the match Roque Vela shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nereo Pio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Diaz in the 92nd minute of play forced C.U.R.B.A.'s goalkeeper Nereo Pio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The C.U.R.B.A. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. boca juniors fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
