Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edelmiro Nikola to make the kick off. Eulalio Benvido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Venancio Olayo's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Guaberto Abascal hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Venancio Olayo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eulalio Benvido was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 58 minutes into the match, Braulio Ondino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eulalio Benvido. Cardoso FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Ondino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Eulalio Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Olayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Braulio Ondino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eulalio Benvido having to make a save. Venancio Olayo struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Eulalio Benvido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HURACAN F. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braulio Ondino in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eulalio Benvido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edelmiro Nikola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Emiliano Rius made a huge save. Venancio Olayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Cardoso FC defense, Braulio Ondino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eulalio Benvido. The Cardoso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Benvido should have stopped the shot. Venancio Olayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Eulalio Benvido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braulio Ondino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Olayo in the 79th minute of play. Braulio Ondino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Benvido having to interfere. The supporters of HURACAN F booed when Cardoso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Braulio Ondino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th match minute, Cardoso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Faro to maneuver through the defense.
