In the 3rd match minute, Estatales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Joachim to maneuver through the defense. Estatales's Theagenis Charalambakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Jobo in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match, Eustacio Iraunkor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Francisc Cârstea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 11th minute, Lino Mattin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estatales fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Francisc Cârstea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Sansone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute of the match Candido Munio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisc Cârstea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Acción Católica Argentina's Francisc Cârstea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Acción Católica Argentina from getting a goal against them. Francisc Cârstea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Sansone in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Mattin got free with Francisc Cârstea in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Isaac Mercurio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisc Cârstea was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, Acción Católica Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Sansone came free, but Francisc Cârstea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustacio Iraunkor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Denis Sansone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Francisc Cârstea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Jobo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Francisc Cârstea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Mattin in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Sansone in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisc Cârstea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Froilan Joachim in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Acción Católica Argentina's Arnoldo Lapurdi. Francisc Cârstea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The supporters of Acción Católica Argentina booed when Estatales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Mattin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Denis Sansone notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Acción Católica Argentina's Francisc Cârstea. Francisc Cârstea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisc Cârstea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Sansone in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the game Froilan Joachim made a throw-in which Anacleto Martxot played forward. In the 83rd minute, Lino Mattin made a precise shot to the right of Francisc Cârstea. Acción Católica Argentina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Gerardo Jobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Theagenis Charalambakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Acción Católica Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Mercurio came free, but Francisc Cârstea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisc Cârstea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Sansone in the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Estatales fully deserved thier win.
