In the 4th minute of the match, Victorio Sol tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erasmo Eleazar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Yanimas AFC's Adriana Urbes got a free kick in the 6th minute. Higinio Pelayo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 8thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Erasmo Eleazar would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Higinio Pelayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Erasmo Eleazar made a huge save. After some careless play in the Yanimas AFC defense, Higinio Pelayo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Eleazar. The Yanimas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Eleazar should have stopped the shot. Higinio Pelayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Erasmo Eleazar made a huge save. In the 21st minute, Camilo Lohitzun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erasmo Eleazar. The goal made the score 2-0. After having played for 26 minutes, Baltasar Cordarrol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YACANTO 2.0's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltasar Cordarrol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Yanimas AFC's Erasmo Eleazar got control of the ball when Higinio Pelayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Higinio Pelayo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Erasmo Eleazar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Erasmo Eleazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Sol in the 31st minute of play. If Victorio Sol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute of the match, Higinio Pelayo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erasmo Eleazar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Yanimas AFC's goalkeeper Erasmo Eleazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Higinio Pelayo. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Hodei was the one to do the kick off. Felix Raymundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Higinio Pelayo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Erasmo Eleazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YACANTO 2.0. Yanimas AFC's Marcos Hodei got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute Camilo Lohitzun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, YACANTO 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Hodei came free, but Gregorio Jaunti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Victorio Sol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Lohitzun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Yanimas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Pelayo came free, but Erasmo Eleazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorio Sol took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Eleazar. Erasmo Eleazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Filomeno Feliu hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Marcos Hodei who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Gregorio Jaunti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Erasmo Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Sol, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When Higinio Pelayo came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the YACANTO 2.0 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Pelayo couldn't finish the play. YACANTO 2.0 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
