In the 26th minute Filiberto Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Llego el Lecherooooooo!'s goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Ioritz came free, but Ruperto Gervaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Filiberto Abadia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mojotoro AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Abadia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Gervaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teofilo Argenis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Guzman in the 31st minute of play. Ruperto Gervaso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Abadia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruperto Gervaso was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. The supporters of Mojotoro AFC booed when Llego el Lecherooooooo! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Eduino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiberto Abadia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulino Ioritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ruperto Gervaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alfredo Hever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Mojotoro AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Llego el Lecherooooooo! throughout the match.
