Leonardo Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Cordara in the 11th minute of play. Dionisio Cordara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Gagriel having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Barea in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Gagriel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Barea notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ballester's Leonardo Gagriel. Leonardo Gagriel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Ballester defense, Dionisio Cordara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Gagriel. The Ballester fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Gagriel should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Sedeni got free with Severiano Clodio in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Salvatore during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ballester booed when Snuff F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Salvatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dionisio Cordara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Barea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Leonardo Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dionisio Cordara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Gagriel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Arnulfo Barea made the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Gagriel was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Arnulfo Barea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnulfo Barea really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Natalio Ponc helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Ballester's zone, Dionisio Cordara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Gagriel came out of the goal and Dionisio Cordara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Arnulfo Barea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonardo Gagriel. The goal made the score 0-4. 76 minutes into the game, Pablo Rudolfo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballester's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Snuff F.C the free kick. In the 76th minute, Pablo Rudolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Ballester's Natalio Ponc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severiano Clodio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Sedeni in the 85th minute of play forced Snuff F.C's goalkeeper Severiano Clodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Sedeni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Severiano Clodio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arnulfo Barea came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Snuff F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Barea couldn't finish the play. Ballester's Leonardo Gagriel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Barea in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Snuff F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ballester.
