After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Pastor Mogel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peste Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Mogel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Libertad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Pascual Indalecio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute Pascual Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Corderro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Matai kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Pastor Mogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Pastor Mogel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peste Verde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Lisandro Velasco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alberto Libertad came out and tried to block the shot, but Lisandro Velasco slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 34th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Modesto Baumer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Pascual Indalecio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joel Corderro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alberto Libertad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Modesto Baumer went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Alberto Libertad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Mogel in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Modesto Baumer in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Libertad saved Los Lechugas from getting behind. In the 67th match minute, Peste Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Matai to maneuver through the defense. Peste Verde's Nemesio Mantzio was substituted for Roberto Tano. After a rather tough play, Peste Verde's Adrian Matai got a free kick in the 68th minute. Joel Corderro was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Elpidio James capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elpidio James really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. In the 75th match minute, Peste Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Escobar to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes Peste Verde got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Escobar. Joel Corderro made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Elpidio James sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Peste Verde fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! The supporters of Peste Verde booed when Los Lechugas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Berenguer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Los Lechugas's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Castel came free, but Alberto Libertad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Peste Verde's Lisandro Velasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto Libertad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. The supporters of Peste Verde booed when Los Lechugas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Montrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Velasco in the 95th minute of play forced Los Lechugas's goalkeeper Alberto Libertad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Libertad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Mateo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Peste Verde had played much better football throughout.
