Ubaldo Teodor hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Braulio Haritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Florentino Gartzea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Güemes's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Cayo came free, but Tomás Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximo Abalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Gartzea in the 33rd minute. Tomás Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Haritz in the 34th minute of the match. Herminio Firmo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Abelardo Balesio took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Reyes. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herminio Firmo to make the kick off. Herminio Firmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Tomás Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abelardo Balesio got free with Tomás Reyes in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Braulio Haritz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herminio Firmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Reyes having to interfere. Güemes's Tomás Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Firmo in the 91st minute of play. When the final whistle sounded C.A.Soldados del Señor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Güemes.
