Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvio Benvide in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Txerran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gonzalo Txerran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Benvide in the 10th minute of play. Gonzalo Txerran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Bastian in the 12th minute of the match. Silverio Eneto came free in the 16th minute and tried to tip the ball over Dobromir Gerlach, but to the joy of Verdugos FC's supporters the ball went over. A collision led to Verdugos FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Paolo Solustiano hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Marcial Opilano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A nice corner shot did that Maximiliano Quintan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dobromir Gerlach quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Silvio Benvide scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonzalo Txerran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Benvide in the 30th minute of play forced Defensores de Pinola FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Txerran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Luisito Derwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Txerran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Defensores de Pinola FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Maximiliano Quintan hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvio Benvide in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonzalo Txerran saved Defensores de Pinola FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Silvio Benvide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonzalo Txerran was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Defensores de Pinola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Hermelando came free, but Gonzalo Txerran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Amadeo Hermelando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcial Opilano to strike the kick off in the second half. Sixto Bastian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Gonzalo Txerran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Paolo Solustiano in the 53rd minute really tested Gonzalo Txerran's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 54 minutes into the match, Defensores de Pinola FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Txerran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisito Derwin. In the 63rd minute, Maximiliano Quintan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Solustiano in the 64th minute of play forced Defensores de Pinola FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Txerran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Txerran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvio Benvide's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Verdugos FC's Rodolfo Errapel got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeo Hermelando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gonzalo Txerran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeo Hermelando might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonzalo Txerran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeo Hermelando ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82ndth minute of the game Silvio Benvide who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores de Pinola FC's Gonzalo Txerran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Defensores de Pinola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Benvide came free, but Gonzalo Txerran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Marcial Opilano came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Defensores de Pinola FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Opilano couldn't finish the play. Silverio Eneto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dobromir Gerlach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play.
