The crowd rose to their feet as C.R.A.F FC's Apolo Bonifaco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aristides Theobald. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Bonifaco in the 18th minute of play forced Olimpo's goalkeeper Aristides Theobald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Luix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Lapurdi in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Olimpo's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Bonifaco came free, but Aristides Theobald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Luix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Jerrold, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. In the 49th minute, Saul Jerrold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Luix was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apolo Bonifaco to make the kick off. When Saul Jerrold fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olimpo's protests and gave Saul Jerrold a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Olimpo got a freekick which was hit by Saul Jerrold. Apolo Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Aristides Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, C.R.A.F FC's Enzo Cordearo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Theobald narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Apolo Bonifaco succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Enzo Cordearo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristides Theobald read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play.
