Niceto Socorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Theobald having to interfere. Inocencio Nazario didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Olimpo's Isaac Uzuri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Inocencio Nazario. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. Aristides Theobald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Socorro in the 26th minute of play. Farillón's Inocencio Nazario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Farillón from getting a goal against them. Niceto Socorro charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niceto Socorro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Farillón getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Niceto Socorro hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Benigno Roano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olimpo's goalkeeper Aristides Theobald, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 minutes of play, Farillón's Delmiro Pabla made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Theobald was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Uzuri in the 42nd minute of play forced Farillón's goalkeeper Inocencio Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darley Hicks took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aristides Theobald. Olimpo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 48th minute of the match Darley Hicks shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aristides Theobald showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niceto Socorro to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute David Lapurdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Eloy Domiku made a precise shot to the right of Inocencio Nazario. Farillón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Niceto Socorro put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aristides Theobald. Inocencio Nazario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Lapurdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Isaac Uzuri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inocencio Nazario. Farillón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Uzuri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Farillón's Inocencio Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Lapurdi in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Farillón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Maiorga to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Niceto Socorro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Theobald. Olimpo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Socorro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. Inocencio Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Lapurdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Inocencio Nazario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Lapurdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Farillón's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Domiku came free, but Inocencio Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inocencio Nazario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Domiku in the 88th minute of the match. Olimpo's Aristides Theobald proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Olimpo from getting a goal against them. Olimpo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Farillón for a fine match.
