Remigio Clemencin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mocoretá booed when Isotopos de Albuquerque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rodolfo Rolado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Rumaldo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfredo Vela saved Isotopos de Albuquerque from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Mocoretá's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Rolado came free, but Remigio Clemencin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Olayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Clemencin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Remigio Clemencin made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Carlos Olayo sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Carlos Olayo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigio Clemencin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Carlos Olayo came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Isotopos de Albuquerque fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Olayo couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mocoretá fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Rodolfo Rolado struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Remigio Clemencin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Isotopos de Albuquerque. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Olayo to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anastasio Lluc in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfredo Vela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute, Danilo Jerano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Mocoretá's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Rolado came free, but Remigio Clemencin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Carlos Olayo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Isotopos de Albuquerque fans jumped to their feet. Remigio Clemencin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Olayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Wilfredo Vela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Lluc in the 66th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Isotopos de Albuquerque defense, Anastasio Lluc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilfredo Vela. The Isotopos de Albuquerque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilfredo Vela should have stopped the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Mocoretá's Edgard Naelio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rodolfo Rolado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Clemencin having to make a save. In the 79thth minute of the game Carlos Olayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mocoretá's Remigio Clemencin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute Carlos Olayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Clemencin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Olayo scored 4-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remigio Clemencin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isotopos de Albuquerque walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
