In the 28th minute Alexandre Borba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Clemencin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club San Lorenzo de A's Victoriano Maurin got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Alexandre Borba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigio Clemencin. Mocoretá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Borba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Borba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remigio Clemencin was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Borba in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remigio Clemencin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Remigio Clemencin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Danel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gualterio Donio fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mocoretá's protests and gave Gualterio Donio a yellow card for diving instead. Victoriano Maurin might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remigio Clemencin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victoriano Maurin ran back to his position shaking his head. After 47 minutes, Alexandre Borba made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Mocoretá's Remigio Clemencin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anastasio Lluc made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Mocoretá's goalkeeper Remigio Clemencin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfredo Danel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Borba in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remigio Clemencin saved Mocoretá from getting behind. In the 55th minute Victoriano Maurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Clemencin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mocoretá's Remigio Clemencin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Borba in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, Mocoretá's Anastasio Lluc made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Evarado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Remigio Clemencin was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Victoriano Maurin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victoriano Maurin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Rumaldo in the 80th minute of play forced Club San Lorenzo de A's goalkeeper Severino Evarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Clemencin stood somewhat misplaced when Alexandre Borba came free in front of goal and shot 1-8 to the left of him in the 82 minute. 87 minutes into the match, Mocoretá's goalkeeper Remigio Clemencin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfredo Danel. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godfredo Danel got free with Remigio Clemencin in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Victoriano Maurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
