San Lorenzo De Almagro's Octavio Gaizkine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Patiño in the 8th minute of play. In the 14th minute Jairo Patiño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SCHEFFER FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Pim Werner hit a great ball. The supporters of San Lorenzo De Almagro booed when SCHEFFER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Macias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo De Almagro's Serafin Shantala broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 25th minute, Serafin Shantala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute of the match, Jairo Patiño tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Octavio Gaizkine saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 35th match minute, SCHEFFER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. SCHEFFER FC's Americo Arnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Nafarroa in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo De Almagro's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Patiño came free, but Octavio Gaizkine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Americo Arnas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Kusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. San Lorenzo De Almagro's Lisandro Nafarroa got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo De Almagro's goalkeeper Octavio Gaizkine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Fort. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cayetano Kusko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SCHEFFER FC booed when San Lorenzo De Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Pietro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavio Gaizkine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bart Movilla in the 54th minute of the match. Octavio Gaizkine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Fort, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Octavio Gaizkine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart Movilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bart Movilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Gaizkine having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Jairo Patiño notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of San Lorenzo De Almagro's Octavio Gaizkine. Octavio Gaizkine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to San Lorenzo De Almagro getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Serafin Shantala hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Fort in the 77th minute of play forced San Lorenzo De Almagro's goalkeeper Octavio Gaizkine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavio Gaizkine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Fort in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Roque Fort left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SCHEFFER FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. SCHEFFER FC's Americo Arnas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save SCHEFFER FC from getting a goal against them. Octavio Gaizkine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pim Werner in the 88th minute of play. Octavio Gaizkine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Patiño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Bart Movilla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavio Gaizkine was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After 94 minutes, Roque Fort made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. San Lorenzo De Almagro's Octavio Gaizkine tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SCHEFFER FC fully deserved thier win.
