Manuel Quinton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristides Abaunza went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the match, Jorfala's goalkeeper Sergio Bonadona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Gimenez. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eloy Elorri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 69 minutes into the game, Aristides Abaunza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Quinton.
