A beautiful save bye Villaguay AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Gustavo Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amador Domingues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Rodriguez's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Walter Rodriguez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amador Domingues was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Isidoro Cordero fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nacate's protests and gave Isidoro Cordero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Nacate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Cordero to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Pedro Kauldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Kauldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Domingues having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Villaguay AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Kauldi came free, but Amador Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Rodriguez in the 32nd minute of play. Isidoro Cordero kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Amador Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Rodriguez in the 44th minute of the match. A collision led to Villaguay AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Amadeo Goren hit a great ball. The Villaguay AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nacate were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Kauldi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Rodriguez in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Domingues saved Villaguay AFC from getting behind. Villaguay AFC's Gustavo Etxatxu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Villaguay AFC's Efrain Toro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Efrain Toro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Villaguay AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Efrain Toro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 60 minutes into the game, one of Villaguay AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Villaguay AFC's Amador Domingues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Villaguay AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Rodriguez in the 68th minute of play forced Villaguay AFC's goalkeeper Amador Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Rodriguez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amador Domingues came out and tried to block the shot, but Walter Rodriguez slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 71st minute. Walter Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Zeledon Clis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jiang Jian Mo. Nacate's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Walter Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Amador Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nacate's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
