Victorino Lorenz made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Agustin Oskarbi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Boedo F.c's Edelmiro Balendin got a free kick in the 21st minute. Elpidio Taurino was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 25 minutes, Pastor Rutenio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boedo F.c and the Fiesta! players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Boedo F.c fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Fiesta!'s Humberto Pello got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Fiesta!'s Victorino Lorenz got control of the ball when Evelio Filipo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Fiesta! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Taurino to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Pello to strike the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Bazkoare was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Humberto Pello capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Humberto Pello really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. With 93 minutes on the clock, Ejvind Skalborg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 92 minutes into the game, one of Fiesta!:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Boedo F.c. Evelio Filipo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Victorino Lorenz. 1-5. When the final whistle sounded Fiesta! left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Boedo F.c.
