When Elvio Izotz fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miramar FC's protests and gave Elvio Izotz a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Miramar FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Boca Juniors:s goal. In the 13th minute, Evaristo Ondino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Horado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Miramar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Tartalo came free, but Lucas Senin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Miramar FC booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Gorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Nunez Vela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miramar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nunez Vela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Horado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26thth minute of the game Nunez Vela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Mauro Horado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adolfo Hitzeder charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Hitzeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adolfo Hitzeder hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Mauro Horado came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Miramar FC's Evaristo Ondino. But to his dismay, Evaristo Ondino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Nunez Vela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miramar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nunez Vela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Horado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd match minute, Miramar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Ondino to maneuver through the defense. Evaristo Ondino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Mauro Horado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

51 minutes into the match, Miramar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Ebardo came free, but Lucas Senin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Nunez Vela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Horado came out of the goal and Nunez Vela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Iturri's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Iturri helped the player get up and apologised. Mauro Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Vela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Ondino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Evaristo Ondino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Evaristo Ondino came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Miramar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Ondino couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute Evaristo Ondino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boca Juniors's Mauro Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Vela in the 76th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Isidoro Ebardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miramar FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
