When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Salvatore in the 52nd minute of play forced Fiesta!'s goalkeeper Victorino Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Real Córdoba FC booed when Fiesta! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Foro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Foro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Horado in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorino Lorenz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd match minute, Fiesta! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ejvind Skalborg to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Ignacio Hurko made a precise shot to the right of Victorino Lorenz. Fiesta!'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 88th minute Cesar Horado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Fiesta!'s goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Senin came free, but Victorino Lorenz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Fiesta! booed when Real Córdoba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Frechoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorino Lorenz came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Córdoba FC's Damaso Senin. But to his dismay, Damaso Senin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Real Córdoba FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
