The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Furia Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Balasi came free, but Florentino Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Jose Balasi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florentino Domingues. Furia Azulgrana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Balasi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Florentino Sanchez struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Luciano Leocadio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furia Azulgrana. When Olavo Souza fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New P's protests and gave Olavo Souza a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, New P's Olavo Souza got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Clodoveo Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, New P's Jose Balasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florentino Domingues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florentino Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Eliazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jose Balasis short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Florentino Domingues to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Severino Isauro hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, New P's Olavo Souza tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute of the match, Clodoveo Eliazar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Florentino Domingues saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Victorino Eusko hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Rogelio Tome recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Florentino Domingues. Rogelio Tome showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Rolando Chorache kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luciano Leocadio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Sanchez in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Jose Balasi sped through Furia Azulgrana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Florentino Domingues. Jaime Etxatxu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Luciano Leocadio made a huge save. After 68 minutes of play, New P's Jose Balasi made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florentino Domingues was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute, Rodolfo Quentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Tome struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Florentino Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New P. Clodoveo Eliazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Florentino Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Jose Balasi put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Florentino Domingues. When Jose Balasi came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the New P fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Balasi couldn't finish the play. Jose Balasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Etxatxu's late challenge caught a New P's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Etxatxu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Furia Azulgrana getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jaime Etxatxu hit a great ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Clodoveo Eliazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New P's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clodoveo Eliazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. New P's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
