Gerardo Jakes hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Ermegildo Ferman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Baladi to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, LOS LEONES F.C's Ernesto Baladi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingos Xacintu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOS LEONES F.C's goalkeeper Ildefonso Esiquio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Güray Aktaş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ildefonso Esiquio. LOS LEONES F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Güray Aktaş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Domingos Xacintu came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by LOS LEONES F.C's Ernesto Baladi. But to his dismay, Ernesto Baladi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Louis Calstermans kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in LOS LEONES F.C's zone, Güray Aktaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Esiquio came out of the goal and Güray Aktaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute Güray Aktaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermegildo Ferman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Esiquio having to interfere. Nikizanga's Melquiades Chayo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ruben Isusko, made in the 84th minute of the game. If Güray Aktaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikizanga's Güray Aktaş got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th match minute, LOS LEONES F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Isusko to maneuver through the defense. The Nikizanga manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing LOS LEONES F.C to win.
