In the 12th minute Isaias Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trần Hieu Ngan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cirilo Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Lander having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Benicio Venceslas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trần Hieu Ngan was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. When Adan Abad came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Manantiales F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adan Abad couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Venceslas in the 46th minute of play forced Jubileo's goalkeeper Trần Hieu Ngan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benicio Venceslas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Trần Hieu Ngan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benicio Venceslas was the one to do the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Benicio Venceslas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manantiales F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Benicio Venceslas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trần Hieu Ngan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Manantiales F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jubileo throughout the match.
