The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteve Serafo was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Embarcación got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Loreto. Laureano Rivero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. La Criba de Eratostenes's Severo Oliviero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Estebe in the 56th minute of play. Aldo Lauren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Serafo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Rivero in the 64th minute of play forced La Criba de Eratostenes's goalkeeper Severo Oliviero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes, Jeremias Bertran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Criba de Eratostenes and the Embarcación players grew even worse after the yellow card.
