When Fabricio Cai fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sport Lacar Sur's protests and gave Fabricio Cai a yellow card for diving instead. Fabricio Cai hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Hendrik-Jan Sluis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Dubardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vidar Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Dubardo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hendrik-Jan Sluis in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Dubardo saved Sport Lacar Sur from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Cai in the 14th minute of play forced LEPRA F.C's goalkeeper Felix Abajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 16 in the game by Vidar Söderberg from a close distance when the talented Amador Dubardo managed to make a qualified save. Sport Lacar Sur's players were relieved. After 20 minutes Sport Lacar Sur's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabian Rios who took care of the corner kick. Eleuterio Lauaxeta thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Amador Dubardo, a very annoying self made goal in the 21st minute which led to 1-0. In the 25th minute, Vidar Söderberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hendrik-Jan Sluis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amador Dubardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Hendrik-Jan Sluis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Astor Tello's late challenge caught a LEPRA F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Tello helped the player get up and apologised. Amador Dubardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendrik-Jan Sluis in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Sport Lacar Sur's Isidro Ramond sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Abajas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vidar Söderberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Amador Dubardo made a huge save. 47 minutes into the game, Dionisio Fertus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Lacar Sur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LEPRA F.C the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Sport Lacar Sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Fertus to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vidar Söderberg to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Isidro Ramond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Lacar Sur's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Ramond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Abajas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vidar Söderberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Amador Dubardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, LEPRA F.C's goalkeeper Felix Abajas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugenio Montes. LEPRA F.C's Vidar Söderberg got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amador Dubardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, LEPRA F.C's Fabian Rios got a free kick in the 65th minute. Vidar Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Dubardo having to interfere. If Vidar Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felix Abajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Markel in the 83rd minute of play. After 88 played minutes LEPRA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Basajaun. A hard shot by Juan Rumaldo from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Felix Abajas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Felix Abajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Markel in the 91st minute of play.
