Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Quilinquil's Blas Abechuco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Blas Abechuco struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Marco Baleren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilinquil. When Blas Abechuco came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Quilinquil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Abechuco couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Quilinquil getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gaspar Arnalt hit a great ball. If Astor Gaxan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes Persépolis Aqueménida FC got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Elequemedo. When Blas Abechuco came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Quilinquil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Abechuco couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Persépolis Aqueménida FC's Anibal Elequemedo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Blas Abechuco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilinquil's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Abechuco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Baleren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blas Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Astor Gaxan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Gaspar Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Quilinquil's Gogo Perico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Quilinquil from getting a goal against them. Marco Baleren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Gaxan in the 55th minute of play. Blas Abechuco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Baleren having to make a save. Gogo Perico made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Gaspar Estebe sent off a good shot on target. Blas Abechuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Marco Baleren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Quilinquil booed when Persépolis Aqueménida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Iban didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Astor Gaxan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quilinquil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Astor Gaxan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Baleren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blas Abechuco went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Gaspar Estebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Quilinquil's Ignacio Giraldo got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Persépolis Aqueménida FC's zone, Blas Abechuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Baleren came out of the goal and Blas Abechuco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Quilinquil players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
