Omar Nuno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Benet in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Ya va a suceder's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Isadore came free, but Omar Nuno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Illan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Benvido, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Omar Nuno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Azevedo in the 32nd minute of play. Omar Nuno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Thanks to some nice moves Godfredo Benet could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Omar Nuno however easily saved by the left post. 54 minutes into the match, Leo Tello notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Rivadavia AFC's Bruno Illan. Bruno Illan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Rivadavia AFC booed when Ya va a suceder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanio Benvido in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Illan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Ya va a suceder's Omar Nuno got control of the ball when Godfredo Benet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ya va a suceder's Omar Nuno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Ya va a suceder from getting a goal against them. After 72 minutes, Amado Truylos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ya va a suceder and the Rivadavia AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Leo Tello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Tello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Illan having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Godfredo Benet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Nuno was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Ya va a suceder's Omar Nuno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Terciero in the 89th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Epifanio Benvido put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Illan. Leo Tello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leo Tello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Illan having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
