Defensores de Caseros's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Chan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Cordarrol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Chan spun around in front of the goal 24 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Missoury's goal. 29 minutes into the match, Missoury's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Peruanton came free, but Godofredo Cordarrol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Ebardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Benitez, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Teodoro Segio's late challenge caught a Defensores de Caseros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Segio helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Missoury got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Segio. Defensores de Caseros's Martin Abella shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Godofredo Cordarrol but with some difficulty. After 36 played minutes Defensores de Caseros got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Gutxi. After 38 played minutes Defensores de Caseros got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Peruanton. Eustacio Beturian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cayetano Ebardo. Defensores de Caseros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Caseros's Arturo Gutxi got a free kick in the 39th minute. Godofredo Cordarrol made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Tomás Chan sent off a good shot on target. Tomás Chan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Chan to make the kick off. After 54 minutes Missoury's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Abella who took care of the corner kick. Tomás Chan struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Godofredo Cordarrol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Caseros. The audience was convinced that Tomás Chan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godofredo Cordarrol was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Missoury's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Peruanton came free, but Godofredo Cordarrol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
