The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Arturo Gutxi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Caseros's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Gutxi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Cresitobalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximo Iaki charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximo Iaki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximo Iaki hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Caseros's Natalio Mark got a free kick in the 7th minute. When Valentin Vasco came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Landeta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Vasco couldn't finish the play. Natalio Mark hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute of the match Cecilio Gaur shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cayetano Ebardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 14 minutes of play, Defensores de Caseros's Tomás Chan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Cresitobalo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benjamin Peruanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Tomás Chan made a precise shot to the right of Faustino Cresitobalo. Landeta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Eloy Eusko kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Landeta FC's goalkeeper Faustino Cresitobalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Chan. Faustino Cresitobalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Peruanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Tomás Chan notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Landeta FC's Faustino Cresitobalo. Faustino Cresitobalo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Faustino Cresitobalo came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Caseros's Benjamin Peruanton. But to his dismay, Benjamin Peruanton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 37th minute, Tomás Chan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustino Cresitobalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Faustino Cresitobalo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Chan in the 44th minute. A collision led to Landeta FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Valentin Vasco hit a great ball. If Tomás Chan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Landeta FC's zone, Arturo Gutxi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Cresitobalo came out of the goal and Arturo Gutxi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Gutxi in the 67th minute of play forced Landeta FC's goalkeeper Faustino Cresitobalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustino Cresitobalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Chan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Landeta FC's Faustino Cresitobalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Peruanton in the 75th minute of play. Faustino Cresitobalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Chan, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A collision led to Defensores de Caseros getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Natalio Mark hit a great ball. Faustino Cresitobalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Chan in the 83rd minute of play. Evelio Ramos's late challenge caught a Defensores de Caseros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. Evelio Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Emiliano Caton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Faustino Cresitobalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Defensores de Caseros booed when Landeta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Venceslao didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Landeta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! In the 99th minute there was a penalty for Defensores de Caseros. Benjamin Peruanton stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Faustino Cresitobalo. 7-0.
