Estudiantes de La Plata's Honorio Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Owen Moyse in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Medardo came free, but Honorio Fernendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rigoberto Orixe in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorio Fernendo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Honorio Fernendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Medardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Owen Moyse came free, but Honorio Fernendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
