Angelino Fortun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicasio Oto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severiano Indartsu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Nicasio Oto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club Sportivo Aureliense's zone, Angelino Fortun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Gaueko came out of the goal and Angelino Fortun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Aureliense's Atilano Florian got a free kick in the 20th minute. Augusto Gartxot hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Angelino Fortun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eugenio Gaueko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Nalo charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natalio Nalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Natalio Nalo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Nicasio Oto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelino Fortun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Gaueko having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Club Sportivo Aureliense got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Oxarra. When Nicasio Oto came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Arenales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Oto couldn't finish the play. If Angelino Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Fortun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Eugenio Gaueko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicasio Oto made a kick off. Eugenio Gaueko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicasio Oto's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Israel Gabrio came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mariano Raymond could save by the left post. In the 58th minute, Nicasio Oto made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Gaueko. Club Sportivo Aureliense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Eugenio Gaueko came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Arenales's Angelino Fortun. But to his dismay, Angelino Fortun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Honorato Henry took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eugenio Gaueko. Club Sportivo Aureliense's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eugenio Gaueko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Fortun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Nicasio Oto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Gaueko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Angelino Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Angelino Fortun made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Gaueko. Club Sportivo Aureliense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Placido Gaztea kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When Club Sportivo Aureliense's Esteve Aguilera in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arenales's goalie prevented a goal. Eugenio Gaueko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Oto in the 86th minute of play. Angelino Fortun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Gaueko having to interfere. Angelino Fortun struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Eugenio Gaueko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arenales. If Nicasio Oto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Sportivo Aureliense's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
