Isaias Faro hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Blas Guzman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Nuxila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Blas Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luján's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Guzman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Nuxila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Candido Jokin kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lafinur's zone, Blas Guzman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Nuxila came out of the goal and Blas Guzman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Iker Eguzki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luján's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iker Eguzki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Lafinur's goalkeeper Santiago Nuxila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blas Guzman. 45 minutes into the game, Lafinur's Vicente Abarca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norberto Argina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After the first half Lafinur were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blas Guzman was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Luján's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Lonzo came free, but Norberto Argina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavio Errando hit a great ball. Norberto Argina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Errolan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Lafinur's Ambrosio Lonzo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Norberto Argina. That made the score 0-5 after 87 minutes of play. The Luján supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lafinur's performance. The match ended with a win for Lafinur.
