Alin Donici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Victor Ferrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a left leg Cristian Ixaka saved Jean François Champollion from getting behind. When Nistor Trăistaru fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jean François Champollion's protests and gave Nistor Trăistaru a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Nistor Trăistaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Ferrer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Trăistaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nistor Trăistaru got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 75th match minute, Jean François Champollion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Trăistaru to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Amado Pueblo notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Jean François Champollion's Cristian Ixaka. Cristian Ixaka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ragnar Aasoja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Ixaka having to make a save. 88 minutes into the game, Alin Donici cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Victor Ferrer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jean François Champollion had won after a very even match.
