With a little luck, Saldaña's Ariel Silvanito got control of the ball when Silvestre Olayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ariel Silvanito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Olayo in the 37th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Kyle Jury cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Donato Itzaina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Anjuli AFC's zone, Blake Watts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Itzaina came out of the goal and Blake Watts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Abel Lohitzun made the kick off in the second half. Saldaña's Ariel Silvanito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Lohitzun in the 58th minute of play. Gerardo Oxel kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Apolo Frascuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the game, Anjuli AFC's Silvestre Olayo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ariel Silvanito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 86th minute Abel Lohitzun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Silvanito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Silvestre Olayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Anjuli AFC booed when Saldaña was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Inocente didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Saldaña's Blake Watts got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
