In the 3rd minute of the match Arnaldo Galtero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pablo Cilio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Evaristo Elodio kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Ariel Gotzon struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Venancio Oinatz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amarillo del Oeste. Jimeno Tomi hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. A collision led to Amarillo del Oeste getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ariel Gotzon hit a great ball. Amarillo del Oeste's Pablo Cilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Avellaneda in the 20th minute of play. Venancio Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Dubardo in the 25th minute of play. Pablo Cilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Candido Estebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neuquén FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Estebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Anibal Avellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neuquén FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Avellaneda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Cilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Anibal Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Amarillo del Oeste's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Estebe came free, but Pablo Cilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Cilio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Avellaneda's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Amarillo del Oeste's Pablo Cilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Avellaneda in the 43rd minute of play. Aquilino Urti shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal.

Candido Estebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Cilio having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Anibal Avellaneda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neuquén FC were furious when Aquilino Urti was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Neuquén FC! After a rather tough play, Neuquén FC's Candido Estebe got a free kick in the 64th minute. Candido Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Pablo Cilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Guaberto Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Amarillo del Oeste getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lucas Veremundo hit a great ball. Amarillo del Oeste's Daniel Dubardo got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
