Los Cabeza de Trapo's Anacleto Tonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Abechuco in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriana Jerrold in the 9th minute of play forced Club Atlético de Batán's goalkeeper Cipriano Chorche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético de Batán's zone, Philipp Arielsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Chorche came out of the goal and Philipp Arielsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Philipp Arielsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Chorche having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Los Cabeza de Trapo's Cristo Vermudo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Philipp Arielsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Los Cabeza de Trapo booed when Club Atlético de Batán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Belo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético de Batán's goalkeeper Cipriano Chorche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th match minute, Club Atlético de Batán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Frederico to maneuver through the defense. In the 39thth minute of the game Abelardo Costante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Cabeza de Trapo's Anacleto Tonio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Philipp Arielsen made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Los Cabeza de Trapo's Anacleto Tonio got control of the ball when Manuel Abechuco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cipriano Chorche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philipp Arielsen's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Melquiades Lon kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Adriana Jerrold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute Cristo Vermudo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melquiades Lon during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Los Cabeza de Trapo's Mauricio Montez was substituted for Cristo Vermudo. A collision led to Los Cabeza de Trapo getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Mauricio Montez hit a great ball. Philipp Arielsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Adriana Jerrold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Cabeza de Trapo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriana Jerrold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abelardo Costante struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Anacleto Tonio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético de Batán.
