The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Aureliano Balesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 6th minute, Danilo Palban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedicto Sasoin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Benedicto Sasoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Benino in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in despelotados fc's zone, Ricardo Benino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Sasoin came out of the goal and Ricardo Benino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedicto Sasoin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Benino in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Delmar Muc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genaro Oto might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Quintana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genaro Oto ran back to his position shaking his head. Aureliano Balesio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ernesto Quintana made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Ballester FC's zone, Ildefonso Muno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Quintana came out of the goal and Ildefonso Muno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delmar Muc took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benedicto Sasoin. despelotados fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Ballester FC's Ernesto Quintana got control of the ball when Aureliano Balesio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vladimiro Erdiano kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Ernesto Quintana came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by despelotados fc's Cristo Bizen. But to his dismay, Cristo Bizen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ballester FC's Ernesto Quintana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Balesio in the 56th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Aureliano Balesio managed to get in a good position for a shot. despelotados fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Balesio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Quintana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristo Bizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Quintana having to interfere. Ildefonso Muno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristo Bizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ernesto Quintana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Quintana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Balesio went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Arsenio Sabino kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Balesio in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Quintana saved Ballester FC from getting behind. In the 87th minute, Ballester FC's Ricardo Benino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2.
