Alfonso Menendo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Benedicto Sasoin made a huge save. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by despelotados fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lisandro Seguinus was slow to take the kick. During this time Capdeville AFC's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in despelotados fc's zone, Alfonso Menendo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Sasoin came out of the goal and Alfonso Menendo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Capdeville AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Balesio came free, but Fernando Jacindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Menendo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Sasoin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Menendo in the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Manuel Omero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. despelotados fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capdeville AFC the free kick. Manuel Omero hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Alfonso Menendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfonso Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Balesio got free with Fernando Jacindo in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Capdeville AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while despelotados fc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
