Club Almagro's Primitivo Sal got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Haritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Gaitano in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Gaitano to make the kick off. Jose Artaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Haritz having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Jumial's Bernardo Urdin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sixto Licerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucio Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Licerio in the 90th minute of play. The Jumial supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jumial would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
